I went to the free campsites. There are like 70 or so free marked dispersed camping sites. Road for free camping is very washboarded. There is a vault toilets across near the paid campgrounds as well as at a trailhead a bit past site 13 as well which I didn’t know about before getting there and seeing it. Quiet spot with a few sites with beautiful views. Great area for hiking, biking, and climbing!
